FarmVille 2: Country Escape Spring Scavenger Hunt Guide

The Spring Scavenger Hunt Event is here! Craft Springtime Goods and turn them in for Basket Points! Climb the leaderboard by earning Basket Points! Earn a limited edition Irish Setter Farm Hand and more!

If you are at least level 10, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the Spring Scavenger Hunt! You will probably have to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device’s memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

The Event Grounds will be located behind Eagle Eye Eddie. You will see 3 orders at a time that either can be harvested (crops), or crafted. Each item requested will have a different timer to allow you time to get the items needed. Recipes with Event items will have higher point values. New Event items can be found by sending Farm Hands to the Glade, Pond, Pier, Mine, Mallard Mill, Prized Animals and the Flower Field (temporary for the event only).

Tip: Check the Farm Stand often to see if your friends are selling what you need.

Boosts:

On the upper right of the first tab of the Spring Scavenger Hunt (image above) is where you can easily access the Boosts available.  You can boost the amount of Basket points by 50% for coins (Free first time), or by 100% with keys. There will be a timer once a boost is activated and a short cool-down period when you can buy another boost. Boosts will last 1 hour, and you can only select one boost at a time. (Prices subject to change based on level). Boosts can be found in Surprise Eggs sometimes.

Rewards:

You will see 3 different rewards that are broken into tiers. If you are in the top (gold) portion of your leaderboard on the final day of the event, you will be rewarded with the Irish Setter farm hand. If you are in the middle tier (silver) at the end of the event, you will receive Silver Stamps & Golden Gloves. If you are in the lower tier (bronze), your reward will be Bronze Stamps & Coins.  You will only receive one of the rewards at the end, not all three.

Each time you reach a certain # of Basket Points, you will get a Surprise Egg with various rewards. Check the 3rd tab for the Meter. Some Surprise Eggs will include Boosts!

Spring Eggs: Collect Spring Eggs by feeding your chickens. Each chicken has a chance to drop different colored eggs. As shown below the White chicken can drop yellow eggs, the Brown chicken can drop red eggs, and the Black chicken can drop blue eggs. Your Prized chicken can drop any of the 3 colors as well. If you’ve mastered it to 3 stars you will have a chance at getting yellow, red or blue eggs. Once you collect eggs, head over to the Prized Tent (left of the Farm Stand). Inside the Prized Tent you can trade Spring Eggs for Basket Points to help you climb the leaderboard!

Leaderboard:

The second tab will show you the leaderboard that you are in. Not everyone you know will be in the same leaderboard. The leaderboard tab and the lower left bar will tell you which prize category you are currently in (Gold, Silver, or Bronze). You can also see how you rank among your friends. To be fair to all, you will be in a leaderboard with others that are similar level. While viewing the leaderboard you will now be able to see which Farmers are using boosts.

Flower Field: There is a new temporary place to explore during this event called the Flower Field. Send Farm Hands here to explore and find various flowers, Oranges and cocoa beans!

  1. I bought around 500 keys but since then I haven’t played the game in a month. When I played FarmVille 2 country escape after the month I got cut down to 169 keys but I also got the Labrador Dog to when I saw I had 169 keys I never wanted the Labrador Dog and somehow I’ve lost my keys

  2. I have the same problem with this event and am very puzzled. The rabbit is showing and the sun is spinning constantly. It says i am offline but I’m not. On the market place goods are still being sold. How is this possible if the event is over. I was at level 12 but did not get any rewards or even a result. Is it worth reporting or will this comment be picked up by the technical support team.

  3. Event is still showing on screen even though it’s over. Sunflower is spinning. Non-stop. I wasn’t paying attention to the time left on event and selected booster then noticed I had 5 minutes left to the event. Could that have messed things up? I was in 17th so it’s not a big deal to me. Just an FYI.

  4. Had same problem (should have gotten dog, stuck “offline” even though i wasn’t ). I was able to buy dog house and claim prize through general store. Still “offline” and won’t reconcile, but got the irish setter and sent him off with other farm hands! Try it…good luck

  5. Catherine Caseri

My game is frozen on the calculating rewards. I was in third place when this happened. Hope I get my dog.

  6. I won red setter but it has not been delivered just says I am offline and it is calculating rewards can’t be offline if still getting Eddie and can swap coops and buy and sell goods with friends and fellow coopers
You need to fix the many problems that are in the game rather than trying to rip people off with key and event purchases

  7. Cant load the game I lost 4 days 🙁 it frozzin in 22% and cant open the game

  8. There are still a number of glitches since all the updates on country escape. There is a terrible lag when moving around the farm making me collect things, move objects, or use keys accidentally. I am on Antroid. There is a pink highlight on areas such as the flower field as well.
